SAV (Scale Asia Ventures) is a Palo Alto-based multi-stage venture fund specializing in Enterprise Software, and AI-powered Vertical Industries. Supported by institutional funds, family offices, and publicly-traded conglomerates from the U.S., South Korea, Japan, and Singapore, SAV leverages a global network of strategic corporate partners. The fund focuses on delivering expertise in both U.S. and Asia markets, empowering its portfolio companies to scale globally.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Venture Partner (Singapore Business Development) to represent Scale Asia Ventures in Singapore and the broader SEA region.
This role will focus on fundraising engagement, LP relationship management, and strategic corporate partnership development, acting as the firm’s primary point of presence in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
Key Responsibilities
1️⃣ Fundraising & LP Development
• Engage with Singapore-based LPs, including sovereign funds, family offices, and institutional investors.
• Support fundraising efforts for SAV Fund II and Crossover Fund through introductions, relationship management, and ongoing investor communication.
• Develop and maintain a network of SEA strategic investors aligned with SAV’s cross-border technology thesis.
2️⃣ Corporate Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
• Identify collaboration opportunities between SAV portfolio companies and SEA corporates in sectors such as AI, fintech, logistics, and advanced manufacturing.
• Build relationships with corporate innovation arms, accelerators, and CVCs in Singapore.
• Support strategic initiatives between U.S. startups and SEA enterprise partners for market expansion
3️⃣ Market Intelligence & Deal Flow Support
• Provide the Palo Alto HQ team with insights on SEA technology trends, venture landscape, and emerging growth sectors.
• Source potential co-investment or syndication opportunities in Singapore and neighboring markets.
• Represent SAV at major Singapore and SEA venture, innovation, and AI ecosystem events.
Qualifications
• Based in Singapore with deep professional networks across institutional investors, family offices, and corporate groups in the region.
• 10+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, or corporate innovation / strategy.
• Proven track record in fundraising, investor relations, or strategic partnership building.
• Familiarity with AI, enterprise software, and cross-border technology ecosystems.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or regional languages is a plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable operating autonomously with a distributed global team.
