The Role
We’re looking for an Investment Analyst to join our London team and play a central role in our origination function. This is a front-line role: you’ll be our eyes and ears in the London startup ecosystem, finding the companies and founders we should be backing.
Your time will be split between office-based research and outreach, and getting out into the community—attending events, building relationships, and representing SVV where the action is. You’ll work closely with our investment team to identify, evaluate, and build relationships with promising AI startups.
What You’ll Do
Source and identify high-potential AI startups through proactive outreach, event attendance, and network development. Conduct initial screening and analysis of investment opportunities. Build and maintain relationships with founders, accelerators, university programmes, and the broader startup community. Prepare deal briefs and support due diligence processes. Track market trends and emerging opportunities in AI and enterprise software.
What We’re Looking For
A self-starter mentality—you’re comfortable working independently and taking initiative. Strong communication skills and the confidence to represent SVV externally. Willingness to attend evening and weekend events as needed. Genuine enthusiasm for startups, technology, and the venture ecosystem. Based in London with the right to work in the UK.
