Employment typeFull-time

Sovereign’s Capital is a premier faith-driven investment firm with strategies across private equity, venture capital, real estate, fund-of-funds, public equities, and entertainment. Founded in 2012, our mission is to love God and love our neighbor through investing. We partner with leaders who aim to build organizations with cultures marked by excellence and human flourishing.

We are not concessionary investors; we seek superior long-term returns while remaining deeply aligned with our values.

As our platform continues to scale, we are adding an Investor Relations Analyst/Associate (Investor Support) to strengthen our ability to serve limited partners with excellence. This role is central to the operational backbone of Investor Relations — helping us deliver an unrivaled LP experience, supporting fund launches and closes, and building the systems that allow our firm to grow.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone who loves operational precision, client service, and building elegant workflows inside a fast-growing investment platform.

What This Role Is

This is the IR Support / IR Operations powerhouse — the person who ensures every LP interaction, every close, every data room, every notice, and every query is handled with excellence, speed, and warmth.

You’ll collaborate closely with finance, operations, and the investment teams, but your functional home is Investor Relations.

This role does not include NAV calculations, treasury functions, valuations, audit management, or other core finance responsibilities. This role enables the leadership team to increasingly focus on fundraising, strategic partners, and institutional relationships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in client relations, operations, or sales.

  • Experience in investment management is preferred.

  • Solid understanding of the private asset management landscape.

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with CRMs (HubSpot preferred).

  • Exceptionally organized with a deep passion for detail, timelines, and both creating and maintaining clean systems.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset—loves building and improving processes, not simply maintaining them.

  • High prioritization skills and excellent ability to manage multiple competing workflows with disciplined rigor.

  • Extreme self-starter with the maturity to work independently and collaboratively.

  • Passionate dedication to client service and success. "No job too big, no job too small."

  • Driven, humble, candid, and receptive to feedback.

  • Resonates with Sovereign’s Capital’s Mission/Vision/Virtues.

  • Is driven and humble. Takes his/her work very seriously, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Has high standards and grace. Desires to work with a fast-moving team that holds excellence in very high regard.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Investor Relations team lead for investor support, ensuring timely, warm, and accurate responses.

  • Build and maintain systems to receive, respond to, and track all investor queries.

  • Walk limited partners through the subscription document process with clarity and professionalism.

  • Meet with LPs independently and alongside senior team members, representing Sovereign’s Capital with excellence.

  • Manage investor onboarding workflows, including portal setup, platform access, KYC/AML, Blue Sky filings, and post-close classification.

  • Coordinate with finance and investment teams on capital call and distribution notices, wire confirmations, quarterly reporting, and LP updates.

  • Maintain organized data rooms and support the completion of DDQs and routine investor diligence requests.

  • Maintain clean, accurate records across IR systems, portals, and investor administration platforms.

  • Collaborate with the IR and investment teams on investor events (AGM, Summit, roadshows, vision trips) as needed.

  • Work cross-functionally with finance, ops, and investment teams to ensure investors receive an exceptional experience.

  • Travel as needed; work irregular hours as needed.

Compensation

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience

  • Annual bonus potential

  • Other standard benefits, competitive for a firm of our size.
