The Summit Fund is our evergreen venture capital product. We’re looking for a product-minded fund lead with a strong hunter mindset who can own the Summit Fund as a product while actively driving fundraising and business development, with a particular focus on the DACH region.
You’ll operate at the intersection of fund management, investor experience, and distribution - shaping the Fund’s positioning, working closely with Investment and IR teams, and building trusted relationships with private banks, wealth managers, and family offices.
This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, ideal for someone who enjoys building, selling, and scaling an institutional-grade venture product.
Own the Summit Fund as a product: shape positioning, investor value proposition, and growth priorities; work closely with GPs, Investment, Finance, Marketing & Comms, and IR on portfolio, liquidity, and reporting topics. Your goal is to create an amazing customer experience.
Drive fundraising & DACH business development: actively raise capital with a strong focus on Germany, Austria, and Switzerland; build, deepen, and nurture relationships with private banks, wealth managers, family offices, and selected institutional partners.
Portfolio Management & construction: shape the investment strategy with the goal to balance risk and return and optimize for overall performance
Originate and close: source new distribution opportunities, manage fundraising conversations end-to-end, and convert prospects into long-term partners.
Investor & partner management: act as a key point of contact for distribution partners and investors; support clear, high-quality communication and external representation of the Summit Fund.
Positioning and Branding: Help shape tailored, persuasive & high-quality marketing materials and work hand in hand with marketing and comms, as well as IR, to elevate branding as well as to communicate the value proposition in the relevant investor communities across DACH
Operational readiness: support institutional standards across onboarding, trade infrastructure, governance, and investor suitability, and processes in close collaboration with internal teams.
your profile
Several years of relevant experience in private markets (VC, private equity, private wealth, or distribution).
Proven fundraising or business development experience; comfortable originating and closing investor relationships.
Solid understanding of fund structures, portfolio construction, and investor expectations.
Experience working with private banks, wealth managers, family offices, fund selectors, or within the fund selection and institutional sales departments, is a strong advantage.
Familiarity with evergreen or semi-liquid products is a plus, but not required.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial, and comfortable in a fast-moving, high-performance environment.
Fluent in English and German; French is a plus.
