Our investments support start-up companies that contribute to a better future. That is why we invest primarily in sustainable, visionary ideas from the fields of health, leisure, the environment and technology. Long-term joint success is more important to us than a quick exit. We come from a family of entrepreneurs and have been running our own businesses for many years. The entrepreneurial gene was practically laid in our cradle. Our experience, coupled with a good bit of female intuition, is the basis for our investment decisions in young start-up companies. We are well acquainted with the challenges of everyday entrepreneurial life and, as an investor, we know how to put on our entrepreneur's glasses time and again. For us, it's not about stubbornly looking at the numbers, but about providing ambitious founders with the best possible support in realizing their ideas. Ticket size: 3-50m EUR CVC Funds SBI manages the CVC(Corporate Venture Capital) Funds of 21 large Japanese corporations, each with its own individual investment thesis. SBI Ventures Europe supports the European initiatives of these funds. We have indeed a narrow portfolio strategy : we invest in only circa 10 companies per fund. We have integrated environmental, social and governance best practices in numerous aspects of our own organization, including our proprietary sourcing platform. Bringing support on three ESG pillars Our latest fund RRW II Growth is classified under Article 8 of SFDR regulation, as a financial product that promotes, among other things, environmental or social characteristics.
