Purple Ventures

Purple Ventures is a Czech venture capital fund investing at the pre-seed and seed stages in purpose-driven, technology-enabled startups. Its focus is the CEE+ region, with portfolio companies expected to pursue global markets. Typical initial investments run from €250,000 to €400,000, and the fund may follow on in later rounds.

Investment criteria are set out explicitly: founding team, market opportunity, product need, timing and potential returns. Purple Ventures backs companies that have already reached initial revenue and hold global ambitions. It takes minority equity stakes, leaving founders in control of building and managing their companies.

Beyond capital, the fund provides hands-on support across product development, go-to-market strategy, public relations, hiring and business strategy. The team draws on experience building international businesses. Purple Ventures partners with founders, angel investors and other venture capital firms, and describes its working approach in terms of empathy, honest collaboration and long-term founder relationships.
