VC Associate

We are seeking a dynamic Venture Capital Associate focusing on early-stage investment opportunities in the Middle East, Africa, Pakistan, or Bangladesh regions.
This role is ideal for individuals with a strong passion for the venture capital industry and a keen eye for identifying high-potential tech startups within the specified regions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities in early-stage startups.
- Perform thorough due diligence, including financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive landscape assessment.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment proposals and memos to the investment committee.
- Actively participate in deal structuring and negotiation processes.
- Provide post-investment support and strategic guidance to portfolio companies.
- Build and maintain robust relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, and industry experts.
- Contribute to the overall strategy and growth of the venture capital fund.
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Masters degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a related field; CFA is a plus
- 3-4 + years of relevant local work experience within Venture Capital (early-stage) in the Middle East / Africa / Pakistan / Bangladesh
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in financial analysis and valuation techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset and strong business acumen.
