WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR?
We are a diverse team with backgrounds in technology and entrepreneurship, growing rapidly to deliver on our mission. We are actively seeking a cross-functional Investment & Partnerships Manager to drive our dual engine of capital deployment and strategic growth.
In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for end-to-end deal execution—from sourcing to closing—while simultaneously leading business development initiatives that bridge our portfolio companies with key corporate partners. An ideal candidate is a highly strategic and ambitious thinker who is detail-oriented in analysis yet persuasive enough to influence stakeholders across our organization and the broader ecosystem.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE?
Startup Investment
- Identify and evaluate high-potential early-stage startups (Pre-Seed to Series A) that align with both our investment thesis and the strategic needs of our corporate partners.
- Conduct rigorous due diligence, including market analysis, competitive landscaping, and financial modeling to drive high-conviction investment decisions.
Portfolio Management
- Manage and track a robust pipeline of investment opportunities using CRM tools, ensuring accurate reporting and data integrity for the investment committee.
- Support the execution of accelerator programs by mentoring cohort startups and facilitating deal flow reviews for corporate members.
Fund Raising and Capital Formation
- Support the General Partners in capital raising activities for new investment vehicles, including the preparation of pitch decks, Private Placement Memorandums (PPM), and data rooms.
- Manage relationships with Limited Partners (LPs), including Family Offices, CVCs, and Institutional Investors, by providing regular performance updates and organizing investor events.
New Business Development:
- Identify strategies and opportunities for revenue growth within the team
- Forge and develop strong networks and relationships to enable continued rapid growth of Plug and Play
- Manage and track a robust pipeline of large, multinational corporations
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Key Fund Manager Level: Bachelor’s degree or higher (4-year university).
- Minimum 5 years of investment at Investment Banking (IB)/ Venture Capital (VC)/ Accelerator (AC) firm, New Technology Venture Capital (NTVC) firm, or Securities firm.
- Investment Manager Level: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Science or Engineering (STEM). Minimum 3 years of experience in PE/VC/AC
- Languages requirements: Korean and English
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking.
- Comfortable with Excel, Google Docs, Salesforce CRM, Sales Navigator, and other technology solutions for driving sales.
- A passion for entrepreneurship is a must and startup experience is a plus.
