About the role
We are seeking interns for the Ventures Team (investment division) who are interested in startup ecosystems or a career in venture capital. STEM students are prioritized.
Key responsibilities
- Startup sourcing based on partner-company needs
- Industry trend and insight provision
- Relationship building with external VCs and CVCs
- Research via internet, publications, and interviews
- Ad-hoc project support
Focus areas
Energy, Food & Beverage, Fintech, Health, Insurtech, Mobility, or Deeptech.
Requirements
- 6+ months minimum commitment
- Able to commute to the Shibuya office
- Native Japanese proficiency
- Basic PC skills
Desired qualifications
- STEM background
- Prior VC internship experience
Compensation
- MBA / working professionals: ¥1,500/hour
- University / graduate students: ¥1,250/hour
