The Role:
You’ll be working with our Summit Lead and Brand and Communications Manager to deliver our most important external-facing platform: the Planet A Summit.
This is the firm’s flagship, invitation-only gathering, bringing together 300+ of Europe’s leading climate-tech founders, investors, operators, scientists and policymakers.
You’ll be contributing to a core, firm-wide priority, as the event and its related initiatives directly shape our deal flow, portfolio support, network and the firm’s public presence.
The role is ideal for someone looking to move into venture capital, investor platform teams or brand and community roles within funds.
Location: Berlin, hybrid set-up
Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend to 6 months)
Start: January 2026
Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Remuneration: This is a paid position
Reports to: Summit Lead
Works day-to-day with: Summit Lead and Brand and Communications Manager
Tasks
You’ll be trusted with real responsibility and clear ownership, including:
Owning and maintaining the speaker, partner and guest pipelines as a core working system
Project managing timelines, task trackers and action lists across workstreams
Supporting programme development to ensure content aligns with Planet A’s thesis and our brand while captivating our key stakeholders
Supporting the summit’s content and communications work alongside our Brand and Communications Manager
Logistics coordination for speakers, guests, partners and vendors
You’ll be supported closely by the team and encouraged to ask questions, learn quickly and think creatively.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is:
Early in your career and eager to learn how venture capital and investor platforms operate from the inside
Action-oriented, organised and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
Takes ownership and follows through on what you commit to
Communicates clearly and professionally in English and enjoys working with a wide range of people
Cares about quality and takes pride in work that reflects well on the people and institutions behind it
Prior experience in VC or events is helpful but not required.
