Novo Holdings is looking for a Facility Manager to join our Finance & Operations (F&O) function in Copenhagen. F&O is the operational backbone of Novo Holdings, covering Finance, Accounting, Tax, Investment Operations, Valuation, Procurement, and Facility Management (FM). The function supports the entire organisation across our global offices and plays a central role in ensuring that Novo Holdings operates efficiently, in a compliant way, and in line with our strategic priorities.
We offer you an opportunity to take full ownership of FM across Novo Holdings’ offices globally. The role is anchored in the Finance department and reports to the Executive Director, Head of Finance. You will be the go-to person for all things workplace – from managing our outsourced FM Facility Management partner (ISS) to supporting office managers across our international locations.
Novo Holdings has offices in Copenhagen (headquarters), San Francisco, Boston, London, Singapore, Mumbai, and Shanghai. As the organisation continues to grow, the Facility Manager will play an important role in ensuring consistent, high-quality workplace experience across all locations.
The Job
You will be responsible for the overall Facility Management function, ensuring that our offices are safe, well-maintained, and aligned with the needs of a growing international organisation. You will own the relationship with our outsourced FM provider ISS, covering canteen, reception, and cleaning services, and act as the primary FM partner to office managers in our global offices.
You will manage maintenance activities, office infrastructure, and workplace projects, while also driving continuous improvement across the FM setup – including digitalisation, KPI reporting, vendor performance, and cost efficiency. The role requires a strong service mindset, the ability to work independently across geographies and organizational levels, and a pragmatic approach to balancing employee needs, compliance, and commercial priorities.
This is a hands-on role with broad responsibilities and high degree of independence, offering you the opportunity to shape the FM function in a dynamic, purpose-driven organisation.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Owning and managing the outsourced FM agreement with ISS, including canteen, reception, and cleaning
- Managing maintenance activities, office infrastructure, and workplace projects across all locations
- Acting as the primary FM sparring partner for office managers in global offices
- Budgeting, procurement, and cost follow-up in collaboration with Finance
- Driving KPI reporting, digitalisation, and continuous improvement within the FM function
- Ensuring compliance with workplace, health & safety, fire, security, and business continuity requirements
The role involves occasional travel to our international offices.
Professional & Personal Qualifications
We look for a candidate with the following qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in FM, office operations, or workplace services, preferably from an international company or professional FM service provider from either infrastructure or real estate investment fund, investment banking or internal M&A department from a large corporation
- Relevant degree in FM, Building Services, Engineering, or Business Administration
- Proven experience with vendor and contract management, including outsourced service providers such as ISS
- Experience with budgeting, procurement, cost follow-up, and office projects such as moves and refurbishments
- Ability to work across multiple stakeholders, functions, and geographies with a high degree of independence
- Professional, service-minded, and structured – with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach and high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across functions, cultures, and seniority levels
- Fluent in Danish and English, oral and written
