No Border Ventures

We are an early-stage venture capital firm launched to help break barriers in venture capital and connect founders with capital. Based in the Southwest, we back technology founders from the region and believe innovation can come from anywhere - not only the traditional startup hubs. Our co-founders, Alejandro Muñoz Mendieta and Andy Vargas-Hernandez, bring experience as technology and financial-services operators and investors, as well as personal roots in the Juárez–El Paso border region.

We want to help broaden who invests, who gets funded, and which places receive attention. Our work centers on supporting diverse founders and investors, expanding venture capital’s geographic reach beyond the coasts, and using investment to contribute to a better world. We are interested in collaborating with investors who share that outlook and connecting with early-stage technology founders across the Southwest.
