The Firm invests in early-stage to early-growth companies by becoming a leading Series Seed and Series A investor in startups that drive innovative business models tailored for the Latin American market. We manage two investment funds (one of them in divestment period), and we strive to perform the best possible investments by attracting best-in-class entrepreneurs, applying exhaustive and progressive methodologies to assess opportunities and leveraging our intangible assets to boost our portfolio returns, all while being compliant with major global standards for VC practices.

We are a VC firm that accelerates early-stage Latin American startups on three fronts: investment, knowledge transfer, and community building. We bet on projects with the greatest potential from their ideation, so that they can grow and scale exponentially, generating a positive and measurable impact on the economy and society. We are formed by a team of 15 people who are distributed across 7 different areas.

We write $100K checks to founders with ganas and a big vision to address big problems in growing markets thru a sustainable go-to-community strategy. We help our portfolio companies with sales, community, and fundraising strategies by leveraging our expertise, proprietary tools, WhatsApp, and our Ganas LP, mentor, and support community. We’re on a mission to produce outsized returns con ganas! And, while we’re at it, we’re changing the narrative of who VCs are, who we invest in, and how companies become unicorns by just being us. The fund is run by solo-GP Lolita Taub who is building an early-stage VC boutique franchise; after investing in 91 startups as a scout/angel/VC, and post launching her first fund The Community Fund. B Venture Capital was founded in 2014 with the aim of supporting Brazilian startups and contributing to the growth of a better ecosystem, creating an ideal situation for entrepreneurs to reach their maximum potential. Many startups receive support from angel investors and/or accelerators in very early stages. However, not all startups can make that "big leap" on their own by simply receiving larger investments from venture capital funds. B Venture Capital focuses on this decisive phase for the success of a business.
