About KK39
KK39 Ventures is the investment arm of Wee Hur Holdings, focused on private markets including venture capital, private equity, and private credit. We invest alongside and into leading fund managers across Asia and beyond, and we are building a firm that is known not just for the capital we deploy, but for the quality of our relationships and ecosystem we cultivate.
Role Overview
KK39 is looking for an Associate to join the Partners & Growth function. This function sits at the intersection of branding, ecosystem relationships, and partner engagement. It shapes how KK39 presents itself to the market, how we engage our network of GPs and LPs, and how we build the firm's presence over time. We work with a growing portfolio of partners across private equity, venture capital, and private credit, and this function plays a central role in managing and deepening those relationships.
This is a role for someone who wants to be close to the action in private markets. You will work directly with the KK39 team and play an active role in how KK39 builds its presence and deepens its partner engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities span three areas:
Brand, Content & Digital Presence
- Contribute to the development of foundational branding elements, including tone consistency, content structure, and presentation templates.
- Manage KK39's digital presence, including LinkedIn and the firm's website. Draft and refine content for posts, announcements, and updates in line with the firm's voice and calendar.
- Support quarterly content planning aligned to firm milestones, events, and market moments.
- Build and maintain presentation decks, one-pagers, and investment materials, translating discussed direction into clean, professional outputs.
Events & Ecosystem Engagement
- Support the planning and execution of curated events.
- Manage guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and logistics.
- Coordinate with vendors and venues to ensure professional delivery.
- Track post-event actions and documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date records of attendees, follow-up actions, and outcomes after each event.
- Support pre- and post-event content, including announcements, social media posts, and event recaps across KK39's digital platforms.
- Attend and support KK39 events, industry conferences and networking events, engaging with partners and ecosystem participants in a professional and personable manner.
Partner Relations Support
- Track and coordinate activity across KK39's GP partner engagements, ensuring follow-ups, documentation, and key action items are managed in a timely manner.
- Map and research the GP and fund manager ecosystem to support KK39's partner development and relationship-building efforts.
- Maintain KK39's partner intelligence database and CRM, keeping contact records, meeting notes, and fund data accurate and up to date.
What We Are Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in a professional environment. A background in communications, marketing, or events is relevant, though we value attitude, attention to detail, and the drive to execute above all else.
- Strong written communication skills: able to draft a clear email, write a concise LinkedIn post, and put together a well-structured deck.
- High standards in quality of output including formatting, presentation, and documentation.
- Organised and capable of managing multiple parallel workstreams.
- Comfortable using PowerPoint, Canva, or similar tools to produce clean and professional materials.
- Sociable and confident in professional settings: enjoys meeting people and can represent KK39 well across hosted events and external industry gatherings.
