We are seeking an Investment Associate who has deep experience across the whole investment process, from deal evaluation to project management to portfolio monitoring and value creation.
Job Description:
· Conduct market, macro and technical research to screen investment opportunities, and present views to deal teams and senior management
· Conduct in-depth financial modelling and valuation analyses
· Develop relationships with founders, advisors, and ecosystem partners.
· Build position papers on focus industries or themes for investment
· Monitor the progress of portfolio companies and support value creation initiatives, and tracking of portfolio
· Develop internal investment-related processes to improve efficiency
· Prepare regular investor reports and investment memoranda and materials
· Support fundraising or investor relations matters, when necessary
Job Requirements:
· At least 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy with a reputable firm
· Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate deals independently
· Experience building complex financial models
· Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present complex ideas clearly
· Strong sense of ownership, initiative and resourcefulness; ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
· Excellent written and spoken English
