iXO Private Equity

iXO Private Equity is an independent French private equity firm investing €2m–€30m per deal in SMEs via buyout and development capital, managing FIP and FPCI funds.

iXO Private Equity is an independent French private equity management company founded in 2003 and wholly owned by its management team. It takes minority and majority equity positions in small and mid-sized companies through buyout and development-capital transactions, deploying between €2 million and €30 million per deal. The firm reports €1 billion in assets under management across a portfolio of 70 companies.

Over 15 years, iXO has completed some 300 transactions, investing a total of €750 million. It manages FIP (Fonds d'Investissement de Proximité) and FPCI (Fonds Professionnel de Capital d'Investissement) vehicles, alongside legacy innovation-focused investment funds. Portfolio activity is concentrated on SMEs, with particular emphasis on supporting company leaders through growth phases and ownership transition (transmission).

The firm's footprint is regional rather than Paris-centric: offices in Toulouse, Bordeaux, Marseille, Lyon and Nantes cover the Grand Sud, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Brittany–Pays de la Loire. The investment team numbers 18 professionals, who remain active alongside portfolio companies after completion. Each investment is accompanied by practical ESG (environmental, social and governance) initiatives.
