About Isogon
Isogon Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm investing in founders bringing AI, advanced software, and automation to the physical economy. We focus on sectors including manufacturing, logistics, energy, and other industrial markets.
Our industrial relationships are central to how we invest: they help us identify opportunities, evaluate technologies, and connect startups across our portfolio and investment pipeline with customers and strategic partners.
The Role
We are hiring a Head of Industrial Partnerships to build and lead Isogon’s network of industrial partners across the United States and Europe, and develop the programs that connect this network with our investment team and founders.
Working directly with the Partners, you will identify, engage, and develop relationships with industrial owners, executives, and operators. Your goal will be to understand their innovation mandates, operational challenges, and technology priorities—and connect them with relevant startups across Isogon’s portfolio and investment pipeline. This is a hands-on role for someone who can build trusted relationships, turn industry conversations into investment insights, and help startups develop commercial partnerships. - Understand partner priorities:Develop a detailed understanding of our industrial partners’ operational challenges, technology priorities, and purchasing processes, including what drives or prevents adoption.
- Generate investment insights:Synthesize feedback from industrial leaders into investment themes, sourcing opportunities, and actionable intelligence for the investment team.
- Support diligence:Connect the investment team with relevant customers and experts to assess demand, adoption barriers, and commercial potential.
- Help win investments and drive portfolio growth:Connect startups across our investment pipeline and portfolio with relevant customers and partners, demonstrating Isogon’s value to founders and helping turn introductions into pilots and lasting commercial relationships.
- Develop partner programs:Create recurring opportunities for industrial leaders to meet relevant founders, exchange insights with peers, and explore technologies through executive roundtables, founder showcases, and site visits.
- Create relevant content:Work with the investment team and founders to develop industry insights, technology briefings, and portfolio case studies that engage industrial leaders and startup founders.
- Organize and manage the network:Track partners’ expertise, priorities, and relationships; maintain regular engagement; and make relevant contacts accessible for diligence and commercial introductions. Measure results through partner participation, useful investment insights, and commercial outcomes.
