Impact Shakers

Impact Shakers is an impact ecosystem organisation that combines investment with accelerator-style support for early-stage European startups. Its stated remit is to address social and environmental challenges through inclusive entrepreneurship, connecting founders and investors across the lifecycle of an impact business. Focus areas include climate tech, inclusion tech and impact infrastructure, with an emphasis on ventures tackling root causes of social and environmental problems rather than their symptoms.

Three activity lines make up the model. Investment activities provide capital to diverse-founded, early-stage impact startups. Programmes support entrepreneurs from idea development and business model validation through to growth. Ecosystem partnerships connect founders with partners, investors and experts, alongside practical support - a structure that places capital within a broader advisory and network offering rather than standalone.

The organisation reports having supported more than 500 startups. Two commitments recur across its positioning: broadening access to capital for underrepresented founders and treating entrepreneurship as a vehicle for systemic change. These are operationalised through collaboration - bringing entrepreneurs and investors together - and through practical support, connections and expertise delivered alongside funding.
