What You’ll Do
- Execute the firm’s data strategy to support investment, client, and operational objectives
- Champion data quality standards and best practices to ensure integrity, accuracy, consistency, and security
- Partner with fund administrators to maintain real-time, accurate data within the Portfolio Management System
- Lead efforts to centralize and automate data aggregation from administrators, custodians, and third-party providers
- Collaborate with technology teams to build automation tools and application interfaces that streamline data ingestion and transformation
- Support the development of client reporting, investment dashboards, and operational analytics
- Maintain reconciliation, data lineage, and change management controls to mitigate operational risk
- Review valuations, commitments, capital calls, and distributions to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3+ years of accounting or operations experience within a hedge fund, private equity or venture capital firm, or fund administrator
- Experience using Addepar or a similar portfolio management accounting system
- Strong understanding of private fund subscription and redemption processes
- Knowledge of net asset value, unfunded commitments, internal rate of return, and time-weighted return calculations
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and complex formulas
- Experience using Structured Query Language, Snowflake, or a similar data warehouse
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background

Location: Applicants are expected to work onsite in our New York City office in accordance with our hybrid working policy.
Compensation Range: ICONIQ is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role, together with other compensation being offered such as a discretionary bonus, health insurance, and other perks. There are several factors taken into consideration in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At ICONIQ, we apply a total reward philosophy where all aspects of compensation and benefits are taken into consideration in determining compensation terms. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $100,000 - $115,000 together with the benefits listed above.
