This role is an invaluable opportunity to become immersed in the digital health ecosystem of early stage investment evaluation and venture creation. The Senior Analyst position will gain exposure to key areas of investing and business operations while supporting Senior Leadership at Abundant during every phase of the investment evaluation and venture creation process, from due diligence to deal execution. This position will serve as a member of the Venture Studio Team.

Role Description

This role provides end to end support across Venture Studio decision making and execution, from early stage diligence through venture creation and ongoing development. Responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, secondary research, and rigorous analysis to inform venture decisions. The role also evaluates healthcare technology markets through market sizing, competitive landscaping, and trend analysis, identifying sustainable competitive advantages and key risks.

Insights are synthesized into clear, structured reports, memos, venture briefs, decks, client facing materials, and presented directly to clients. In parallel, the role supports day to day project management of new ventures by coordinating meetings, developing and tracking detailed project plans, managing scope and timelines, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and ensuring comprehensive documentation across workstreams. The position requires strong analytical rigor, organizational discipline, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 3–6+ years of experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, healthcare innovation, healthcare investing, or operating roles within healthcare technology or provider organizations

  • Direct experience in healthcare delivery, healthcare technology, health systems strongly preferred

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience evaluating early stage venture opportunities or strategic investments

  • Experience conducting structured due diligence, market sizing, and competitive analysis within healthcare markets

  • Ability to synthesize complex clinical, operational, and financial data into clear recommendations

  • Proven project management experience, including managing cross-functional stakeholders and external partners

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing executive level memos and presenting to senior stakeholders

  • High ownership mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity in fast moving environments
