IC Ventures

IC Ventures is a Montevideo-based venture capital fund making seed and pre-Series A investments in early-stage technology companies in Latin America.

IC Ventures is a private venture capital fund based in Montevideo, Uruguay, investing in early-stage, technology-led companies across Latin America. It provides seed and pre-Series A equity financing - the capital raised ahead of a company's first institutional round - to businesses with disruptive propositions, fast-scaling potential and strong execution capabilities. Stated areas of interest include artificial intelligence, fintech and broader technology-led startups, with a stated preference for B2B businesses built on recurring-revenue models.

Beyond capital, the fund runs a portfolio support programme that includes board and advisory participation, targeted mentoring, talent recruitment, network access and assistance with later-stage fundraising. Support is structured around the early operating agenda: pilot development, validation of product-market fit, go-to-market strategy, scaling and growth.

For certain technology investments, IC Ventures has a co-investment agreement with Uruguay's National Agency for Research and Innovation (ANII), a public body that can provide grants and soft loans alongside the fund's equity. Portfolio investments to date are in Uruguay and Argentina, while partner experience extends across Latin America and the Caribbean.
