About Haatch
Haatch was founded by entrepreneurs who built and sold businesses for over GBP 100m collectively. The firm invests in UK B2B software companies at their earliest stages, pre-seed and seed, through SEIS and EIS.
Since inception, Haatch has raised over GBP 130m and backed 180+ companies, investing in 40-60 new opportunities each year. The team describes itself as a small, high-conviction fund that moves fast and gets stuck in.
The role
Haatch is hiring an Analyst to join its investment team. This is not a back-office support role. From day one, you will source deals, run due diligence, build investment memos, present to the Investment Committee, negotiate terms, and support founders post-investment.
You will have ownership over your pipeline and a genuine seat at the table, getting hands-on, full-stack venture capital experience at a fund actively deploying capital.
What you will do
- Dealflow and sourcing: Own the top of the funnel. Manage inbound pitches, assess decks, decide what to progress, lead first calls, and drive the best opportunities through the Investment Committee.
- Due diligence and investment memos: Conduct market research, financial analysis, competitive benchmarking, and reference calls. Build and present the investment case with conviction.
- Market intelligence and content: Write research pieces, blog posts, and reports on technology, SaaS, and emerging market trends.
- Portfolio support and meetings: Join internal strategy sessions and external meetings with founders, co-investors, and advisors, contributing actively rather than observing.
