gener8tor fosters innovation ecosystems through accelerator programs, venture capital funds and workforce initiatives. gBETA is a free seven-week accelerator. The manager is the face of gener8tor on the Gulf Coast, coaching founders, building connections and strengthening the startup ecosystem.
Responsibilities: recruit applicants and lead two cohorts; build relationships with mentors, investors and ecosystem partners; run two accelerator programs; manage logistics and KPIs; coach startups on discovery, traction, pitching, business models and fundraising; connect founders to resources; support alumni; measure/report program metrics; manage partner relationships and weekly updates; build the Mobile ecosystem; support broader gener8tor initiatives.
Requirements: reside/relocate to Mobile; commitment to Alabama startup ecosystem; entrepreneurial proactive mindset; organised self-starter; juggle multiple responsibilities; hands-on team player; curious and willing to learn venture/startup industries; flexible nights/weekends; travel occasionally.
