Future Food Fund

Future Food Fund is a Dutch specialist agrifoodtech venture capital impact fund investing in early-stage companies across Western Europe. Founded in 2017, it backs Seed and Series A founders developing technology-driven solutions that can transform food and agriculture value chains. Its investment focus spans sustainable farming, resilient supply chains, and sustainable food development, including innovations such as biological crop protection, precision fermentation, upcycled ingredients, and circular packaging.

The fund aims to help move food systems from contributing to environmental pressures toward becoming part of the solution. It contributes capital, knowledge, and network to portfolio companies, and applies its own impact methodology across deal screening, value creation, and portfolio management. Future Food Fund II raised €40 million at its final closing and invests in areas including regenerative agriculture, zero-impact foods, and circular systems. Its first fund, launched in 2017 with €15 million, invested in 10 Dutch food and agriculture startups.
