ff Red & White (https://ffrw.vc/) is an early-stage focused on investments in startups with global potential. We are the only Polish-American-Japanese VC fund in the world, with offices in Warsaw and New York, and active relationships across Europe and Asia.
We’re looking to add a Senior Associate to our team—an independent, motivated individual who is eager to gain experience, make a tangible impact, and thrive in a highly international environment. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners across the firm and deepen our engagement in Central Europe’s innovation ecosystem. A professional and proactive collaboration style is required when working with our corporate partners in Japan.
The Senior Associate will help our investment team by developing and managing processes to accelerate the growth of our portfolio companies. This position spans every aspect of the investment lifecycle: evaluating opportunities, supporting founders, building internal capabilities, and strengthening our external networks. It combines analytical thinking, creative initiative, and disciplined execution.
Responsibilities:
• Initiating and leading strategic and operational projects (internal products, programs, research deep dives)
• Qualifying, managing, and tracking new investment opportunities and helping to shape our investment pipeline
• Developing personal and firm-wide networks in Central Europe’s tech ecosystem, including at events and through direct outreach
• Supporting deal sourcing efforts by identifying relevant founders and technologies across the region
• Conducting research and diligence on potential investments and preparing core analysis for Investment Committee
• Tracking portfolio performance and valuations, including quarterly presentations and LP reporting
• Representing ffVC at founder meetings, industry events, and conferences, and reporting on key insights
• Overseeing scheduling and contact management with partners’ EA support
• Taking ownership of new initiatives that can meaningfully support our founders and firm
This position is not:
• Limited to sourcing—while sourcing matters, especially in Central Europe, the role remains multi-functional
• All glamour—some of the most important work is detailed, operational, and foundational
