About the role
The Head of Entegris Ventures partners with divisional and technology teams to identify equity investment opportunities in computing materials and semiconductor markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop investment strategies and source deals through collaboration with internal teams and external networks.
- Proactively identify early-stage startups across US, Asia, and Europe ecosystems.
- Manage screening, engagement, and investment in mid-stage (A/B round) ventures aligned with materials science innovation.
- Lead venture partnerships and ensure value creation for business units.
- Manage an investment portfolio of approximately $100M over 4–5 years.
- Set exit strategies (IPO or acquisition) and track financial value creation.
- Report regularly to executive leadership on portfolio health and value delivery.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration for invested company success.
Location and compensation
Based in California, with flexibility for Billerica, MA; Danbury, CT; Round Rock, TX; Aurora, IL; or remote. Full-time. Salary range $220,000–$280,000 annually.
