This part of our thesis focuses on the determinants of health. It includes physical and mental wellbeing, education, financial inclusion, consumer justice and AI safety.

Eka invests in companies helping to shift from a reactive, treatment driven healthcare system to a more proactive and preventative system.
This part of our thesis includes earlier stage diagnostics, new treatment pathways and technology to help people living with chronic health conditions thrive.
Sustainability
Eka invests in technology that can reshape our largest consumer industries to be resource efficient and decarbonised.
This part of our thesis includes both B2C and B2B companies operating in our largest industries, for example mobility, the built environment and our food systems.
Eka is a Sanskrit word meaning “one” or “first.”
It represents our desire to be the first investors. It embodies our belief in the unity of profit and impact. It carries a scientific heritage, appearing in Mendeleev's periodic table to denote undiscovered elements, a nod to the breakthrough technologies we support. And finally, at our core, we are deeply competitive, sharing our founders' drive to win.
