East Ventures is looking for a Social Media Specialist.

Job description:

  • Maintain and improve the development of social media content and schedule (editorial calendar), such as videos, posts, and so on, to drive brand awareness and engagement and build brand image.
  • Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy, targets, and performance metrics based on research and benchmarking of social media strategies.
  • Post social media content across different channels, including but not exclusive to LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Promote content through social advertising.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices and then acting on the information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the Media and Marketing team and beyond to create impactful content.
  • Reporting on a regular and ad hoc basis on the impact of all social media platforms.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related majors.
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in managing various social media platforms in B2B, media companies, or startup companies. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Passionate about startups, VC, digital content, the social space, and emerging social media trends in Indonesia.
  • Experience in managing social media end-to-end process, from planning and executing to evaluating & analyzing each social media content.
  • Able to utilize supporting tools, including but not exclusive to such as Hootsuite, Iconosquare, Google Analytics, and Canva.
  • Able to do basic video editing using applications on a smartphone, for instance, CapCut, and InShot.
  • Strong English writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Robust and detail-oriented to handle multiple multiple social media channels.
  • Good understanding of social media metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude and a creative/innovative mind to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Flexible, resilient, keen to learn, hard-working.
