FAR EASTERN GROUP

If a man’s worth is no greater than his ambitions, the same is true for a company.

Far Eastern Group began with a simple textile factory; seven decades later, it is woven into the fabric of society.

A glimpse at Far Eastern Group’s record of past growth highlights its great promise for the future. Take a look at where we are now next to our humble beginnings – with billions of USD in assets from a few bundles of cotton; a diverse group of 247 businesses from a single textile plant; tens of thousands of employees from an initial few – reaching across the oceans from Taiwan, the momentum is unmistakable.

Far Eastern Group now spans ten significant industries globally – textiles, cement, petrochemicals, telecommunications, shipping, retail, finance, construction, hotel, and philanthropy. The group’s 73-year history is not just one of business expansion but also an invaluable record of reform and innovation.

Far Eastern has helped shape Taiwan’s economy, culture, and quality of life. It has broadened people’s horizons and improved the standard of living in cities throughout Taiwan. Far Eastern Group is at the forefront of change today and still building bridges for a better world tomorrow.
