Industrial Technology Investment Corporation

Taiwan-based venture capital firm and ITRI's VC arm, founded 1979, investing globally across stages via evergreen, collaborative and public funds.

Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (ITIC) is a Taiwan-based venture capital firm founded in 1979 and the venture capital arm of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI). It invests across stages, sectors and markets, drawing on ITRI's research expertise and technical resources in sourcing, due diligence and portfolio-company research and development. To date, ITIC has invested more than US$400 million globally.

Capital is deployed through three channels: ITIC's own evergreen fund, collaborative funds co-managed with partners, and publicly backed funds under ITIC's management. The evergreen structure - a fund without a fixed liquidation date, permitting longer holding periods - supports investment across the company lifecycle. Sector coverage spans electronics, semiconductors, precision machinery, opto-electronics, biotechnology and health, automotive, textiles and the creative industries.

Portfolio support extends beyond capital. ITIC connects its portfolio companies with a global network of manufacturers, corporate partners, mentors and other resources, reflecting its stated aim of nurturing industry leaders. Geographic presence is anchored in Taiwan with a global investment mandate.
