CERI is a Western Australian social enterprise founded in 2015 that works with entrepreneurs and researchers on early-stage ventures. Its remit spans the pre-commercialisation pipeline: programs that take participants from developing an entrepreneurial mindset, through shaping a concept, to preparing for investment. The organisation opened its Nedlands home in 2016 and operates across Western Australia, with a stated focus on impact and a diverse, sustainable economy.

The offering is organised around four elements. Entrepreneurial programs provide the structured progression from idea to investment readiness. Mentorship and industry exposure connect entrepreneurs, researchers and PhD students with experts and peers. Eligible alumni can access residency opportunities at Nedlands, and early-stage funding opportunities for alumni ventures sit at the end of the pathway. CERI was founded by the Bass Family and is inspired by Charlie Bass.

Two operating principles are notable for those assessing the organisation as a place to work or partner. CERI does not claim founders' intellectual property, and it positions itself as a collaborative, founder-friendly environment serving entrepreneurs, researchers, PhD students and those still exploring an idea. The organisation works within the Western Australian startup ecosystem and research commercialisation verticals.
