Capital 2B

Capital 2B is an India-based venture capital fund founded in 2022 that invests in early-stage deep technology and intellectual-property-led startups. It writes first cheques of $200,000 to $3 million across pre-seed to Series A, and in many cases acts as a company's first institutional investor. The fund is headquartered in Delhi.

The investment focus centres on what the firm describes as computation reshaping the physical world, programmable biology, and new materials science, alongside IP-led technology more broadly. Portfolio selection is oriented towards founders applying original insight to significant problems rather than to prevailing market themes, and the fund states a willingness to back deep-tech companies at stages it considers "too early" for much of the market.
