It invests at pre-seed and seed stages, with initial cheques ranging from $750,000 to $2 million, and describes its mandate as supporting foundational innovation rather than technology-enabled services alone.
Sector coverage is concentrated on deep technology: semiconductors, space and aerospace, defence technology, robotics, energy, vertical and edge AI, and bioscience and materials, with additional exposure to fintech and consumer technology. Portfolio patterns point to companies whose competitive advantage rests on defensible intellectual property and the potential to compete in markets beyond India.
Beyond capital, the firm positions itself as an active partner to founders, offering strategic guidance, access to operators and domain experts, and introductions to customers and partners. It also supports portfolio companies on market validation and subsequent fundraising.
Through INDIA Deepspark, an initiative designed to accelerate early-stage deep-tech businesses moving breakthrough technologies from research toward market, the firm engages companies at the earliest point of commercialisation. The first edition attracted more than 500 applications, involved close engagement with over 20 startups, and deployed $625,000.
