We’re Betaworks, a product-focused, seed-stage venture capital fund that also builds and works with early-stage companies. Since 2008, we’ve been investing in and developing startups - alongside the founders who bring them to life - with a focus on frontier technologies. On our site, we describe our work as ‘investing, building and working with exceptional creators and makers,’ and we also run a recurring in-residence program called Camp.
Camp is a thematic investment and in-residence program for startups building in frontier technologies. It takes place twice annually and includes an ‘in-residence’ period at our NYC offices to support product development, platform strategy, data science, branding, and fundraising. Through Camp and our investment work, we bring cohorts together and connect them to our team, our network, and curated industry leaders - so early companies can build, iterate, and move toward Demo Day.
