B Capital seeks a pre-MBA Associate for its Healthcare AI Team to support the investment process across Series A to Growth Equity stages. The role involves identifying healthcare investment opportunities through research-driven sourcing, evaluating market trends, assessing deal viability, and conducting financial due diligence including complex modeling. The candidate will work across healthtech and digital health sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop market research and investment theses; source new opportunities based on themes
- Evaluate investment materials and lead key diligence pieces (audit, tax, legal, financial modeling)
- Provide high-touch support to portfolio companies; leverage firm and BCG networks
Requirements
- Passion for disruptive technology
- 1–3+ years relevant experience (investment banking, finance, or BD roles preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in economics, data science, biology, engineering, or related fields
- Strong quantitative / qualitative analytical skills; detailed financial modeling expertise
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco
Logistics
Hybrid — 3 days in SF office. California base salary $110,000 – $130,000.
