Axion Ventures is looking for an Investor Prospecting & Outreach Intern specializing in Limited Partner Development. The role involves identifying and researching potential investors, crafting outreach strategies, and maintaining investor relations. The intern will assist with creating pitch materials, compiling prospect data, and investor outreach and follow up. Close collaboration with the business development team and hands-on support in executing fundraising campaigns are also integral to the position.
Responsibilities
Prospecting & list building: Identify and segment target LPs and intermediaries (RIA/wealth managers, family office contacts, high net worth-aligned allocators) by fit and likelihood to invest.
Outreach operations: Draft and send outreach sequences (email + LinkedIn), track follow-ups, and maintain a weekly cadence that produces meetings.
Pipeline management: Maintain a clean CRM or tracker (stages, next actions, notes, commitments, follow-ups, outcomes).
Meeting enablement: Prepare briefings for each LP call (fit summary tied to Axion Ventures’ thesis, process, and terms). Our thesis and process are central to messaging.
Materials support: Package and distribute the LP deck and supporting information; help answer “what do you invest in / how do you decide / how do you manage risk?” using deck language (criteria, pacing, follow-on thresholds).
Process improvement: Report weekly on outreach metrics (messages sent, reply rate, meetings booked, conversion rate) and iterate based on results.
Professionalism & compliance hygiene: Use careful language, keep records of outreach, and follow internal rules for handling investor information and documents.
