The Film Room is AthleteIQ Ventures' bi-monthly showcase for sports technology founders. Hosted by former NFL All-Pro and Pro Bowler, Adrian Phillips, each session brings up to five companies into a live business breakdown with athletes, operators, and venture investors who challenge the product, pressure test the market, and help founders understand what it takes to earn trust, adoption, and momentum in sports.

AthleteIQ Ventures is building a national network of Scouts to help identify exceptional pre-seed and seed-stage companies at the intersection of sports, technology, and human performance.
We're looking for highly connected, curious students and athletes who naturally hear about interesting companies, products, and technologies before they reach the broader market.
What You'll Do
As an AthleteIQ Scout, you'll help us:
- Identify promising pre-seed and seed-stage startups in sports technology, athlete performance, wellness, fan engagement, sports commerce, and related areas
- Introduce companies that you believe AthleteIQ should know about
- Stay connected to emerging founders, entrepreneurs, and innovators within your network
- Share insights on products and technologies you see gaining traction
- Help us identify the companies that could shape the future of sports and human performance
You are not expected to conduct formal diligence or make investment decisions. Your job is simple: find interesting companies and help us get to know them early.

You don't need to be an investor. We're looking for people who:
- Have a strong network across sports, technology, entrepreneurship, or investing
- Are naturally curious about new products and companies
- Have a strong understanding of sports or the athlete experience
- Are plugged into what's happening on campus and beyond
- Enjoy making introductions and connecting people
- Want hands-on exposure to startups, venture capital, and sports innovation
Student-athletes, graduate students, entrepreneurs, and students involved in business, technology, or entrepreneurship are all encouraged to apply.
