Astanor aims to foster a transformative agrifood system, addressing human health & nutrition, climate change and biodiversity loss, for the well-being of humanity and the planet. The vision is for an agriculture and food sector that supports a global population of 10 billion, whilst also regenerating natural resources.
Astanor is uniquely positioned to fill the growth capital gap in agrifood and adjacent themes, like healthspan, circular economy and energy transition, guiding winning ventures through their next phase of growth. Astanor's proposition in growth equity encompasses an investment thesis focused on fast-growing, profitable companies, which drive productivity and prosperity, support health and wellbeing, and achieve efficiencies in terms of costs and impacts. The targeted companies operate in sustainable agriculture & food, health & nutrition, biotechnology & materials, digital platforms & software, and robotics & machinery.
The target fund size for Astanor Growth is €350m, with a portfolio of 10-12 companies. Headquartered in Paris, the fund will be global in its strategy but with the majority of investments expected in Europe. The fund completed a first investment in a company active in sustainable packaging at the end of 2025.
As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a highly motivated Investment Intern to join our Paris-based team for a 6 months' paid internship and help shape the firm’s next chapter of success.
