Energy Impact Partners (EIP) is a global investment platform leading the transition to a sustainable energy future. EIP has over $4 billion in assets under management and invests globally across venture, growth, and credit.

We're seeking an Intern to join our European investing team, which covers venture, growth and private equity investments across the broader climate and energy landscape. The intern will be integrally involved across the investment process, including sourcing and evaluating potential investments; performing due diligence, structuring transactions; monitoring performance at portfolio companies; and more.

Interns at EIP will work on real-time projects and participate in day-to day activities on our teams to enable the clean energy transition. EIP Interns will be empowered to bring creativity and initiative to their work to discover their passion in finance, clean energy, and more. Our team of innovators and collaborators is looking for growth-oriented interns to provide support to teams and bring new ideas to the EIP ecosystem.

Requirements

Intern roles include but are not limited to, those described below:

  • Screening prospective investment opportunities

  • Researching and synthesizing market trends and data

  • Conducting due diligence on potential investments

  • Developing internal investment committee presentation materials

  • Providing ongoing portfolio support, monitoring, and administration

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field with a strong academic track record

  • Excellent analytical skills and capability to assess complex business cases

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and/or projects at a time

  • A positive attitude, be open-minded, and be ready to work as a team player

  • Intellectually curiosity, be a highly motivated self-starter, and detail oriented

  • Demonstrated passion around climate technology and/or sustainability is a plus

Benefits

Compensation with this role is commensurate with experience. Candidates earning graduate degrees are eligible for a rate of £30 per hour, with an expectation of working twenty hours per week. This role is based out of our London office and is a three-month commitment with the potential to extend, for an immediate or early January start.
