Altitude Accelerator

Altitude Accelerator is a not-for-profit innovation hub and business incubator serving technology entrepreneurs in Southern Ontario. Its service area covers Brampton, Mississauga, Caledon and neighbouring communities. The organisation's stated mandate is to help companies commercialise technology innovations, compete globally, and contribute to high-quality employment in Ontario.

Support is delivered through custom programs and one-to-one advisory from experienced business professionals. Practice areas span technology commercialisation, business model development, market readiness and investor readiness. For investors, the relevant point of contact is the investor-readiness program, which prepares companies for fundraising and investor engagement, and an investor network through which portfolio-bound ventures can be introduced. Practical work covers financial forecasting, customer acquisition, pitch decks, fundraising strategy and brand positioning.

Sector focus is weighted towards cleantech, where the incubator offers specialised support, alongside technology startups and early-stage ventures more broadly. Programming also includes Startup Visa work supporting international entrepreneurs. The model is hands-on and oriented towards the stages between idea validation and commercial scale, rather than capital deployment; Altitude Accelerator provides no disclosed funding of its own, and no founding year or team size has been published.
