Accelerate Okanagan

Accelerate Okanagan is a non-profit entrepreneurship support organisation based in Kelowna, British Columbia, working across the Okanagan and the wider province. Its mandate is the development of technology-driven ventures and the regional startup ecosystem; it does not itself operate as a venture fund. Its offering to the ecosystem spans founder advising, structured programmes, membership, events, and coworking facilities.

For those on the investment side, two strands are directly relevant. A capital-readiness programme prepares founders and startups to raise capital, while investor education initiatives target participants within the technology ecosystem. These sit alongside an intellectual-property programme and access to a mentor and peer network that includes entrepreneurs, operators, investors, and advisors. Support is stage-agnostic, covering companies from startup through to scaling.

Geographically, the organisation is anchored in Kelowna and the Okanagan region of British Columbia, with activity extending across the province. Its stated focus is on practical routes to sustainable growth for technology businesses, pursued through mentorship and collaboration with ecosystem partners.
