Alkemia Capital (Alkemia SGR S.p.A.) is an independent Italian asset manager specializing in venture capital, private equity, and PIPE (private-to-public equity) investments, managing approximately €270M in AUM from offices in Milan and Padova. The firm is hiring at two levels — Investment Analyst (3–4 years' experience) and Investment Associate (5–6 years' experience) — for its downtown Milan office.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor deal flow across established Italian and European venture capital sources
- Conduct due diligence and valuation analysis on prospective investments
- Prepare investment memoranda for investment committee review
- Support portfolio company monitoring and back-office operations
Requirements
- Investment Analyst: 3–4 years in VC/PE, Investment Banking, or Transaction Services
- Investment Associate: 5–6 years in VC/PE, Investment Banking, or Transaction Services
- Strategic consulting or startup experience valued
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Corporate Finance, or Management
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word proficiency
- Excellent English; additional languages appreciated
- Strong analytical and communication abilities
- Team-oriented with adaptability to fast-paced environments
