Venture is an antiquated industry, so we’re using software to scale the un-scaleable parts of our business in order to better help our founders and make best use of our all-star team’s time. Our partners - leveled up through software - are a hive mind to serve founders, who in turn help us see the future. We've helped more founders build startups at the earliest possible stage than most anyone you'll meet Initialized’s founder and managing partner, Garry Tan, evaluated more than 6,000 startups as an early partner at Y Combinator. He was part of Y Combinator as it grew from a little-known entrepreneurial program into Silicon Valley’s best-known and regarded network for early-stage technology startups. He also built their internal software system, Bookface, and conceptualized Continuity, their late-stage funding program. Garry then built Initialized Capital into a standalone San Francisco-based early-stage venture capital firm, which now has $3.2B assets under management and more than 200 active companies in the portfolio. We've helped more founders build startups at the earliest possible stage than most anyone you'll meet, and that means we can help startups avoid the 1,000 landmines that can cause certain failure. Core was founded on a simple conviction: the greatest returns come from the most overlooked markets where businesses outperform because they create value. Born out of the Financial Health Network and inspired by pioneers like Grameen and ShoreBank, we’ve spent over a decade investing in fintech and use that experience to invest where others won’t - massive, regulated, and operationally complex sectors that are broken and overdue for reinvention. We stay focused on what’s essential: rebuilding the core systems that shape American life - financial services, healthcare, real estate, insurance, and work. We invest $1-5 million primarily in Seed to Series A companies. We take meaningful positions, offer hands-on partnership, and provide founders with the strategic guidance needed to navigate complex, high-barrier industries. Foresite Capital is a multi-stage healthcare and life sciences investment firm with ~ $4B in assets under management. The firm aims to address areas of great unmet need by funding promising healthcare and life sciences businesses at all stages of their life cycles. Foresite Capital uses a data science-driven approach to invest in companies that leverage biology and big data to transform healthcare, including 10x Genomics, Relay Therapeutics, Element Biosciences, Inscripta, as well as companies developing next generation therapeutics. Founded in 2011, Foresite Capital is based in San Francisco.

Passion Capital is a partnership of entrepreneurs and operators who are applying our experiences to helping founders and early-stage teams build great digital media/technology companies. We are Stefan Glaenzer, Eileen Burbidge and Robert Dighero. We have been personally involved in the largest European technology exits of the past decade, including the biggest exits of the year for 4 of the past 10 years by market value (Ricardo.de acquired by QXL, Skype purchased by Ebay, Last.fm acquired by CBS, and QXL/Tradus acquired by Naspers) - and want to be involved in many more.
