2080 Ventures is seeking a seasoned General Partner (GP) based in Saudi Arabia to accelerate our fundraise, deepen our presence in the Kingdom, and expand our access to institutional investors and family offices. This GP will play a pivotal role in sourcing LP capital, shaping fund strategy, and representing 2080 Ventures across Saudi’s innovation ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Lead capital formation efforts across KSA, including outreach to family offices, sovereign funds, FoFs, and UHNW investors.
Drive introductions to strategic LPs; manage long-term investor relationships on behalf of the fund.
Build, negotiate, and close commitments for 2080 Ventures’ active funds (Seed, Corporate, and Government Programs).
Support fund modeling, portfolio construction, and investment committee decision-making.
Represent the fund at conferences, closed-door LP events, government meetings, and private investor circles.
Provide oversight on governance, compliance, and fund structures (Delaware, DIFC, ADGM, KSA CR).
Identify co-investment opportunities and deepen partnerships with corporates, ministries, and innovation entities.
Requirements
7+ years experience in VC/PE, investment banking, family offices, or fund management within Saudi Arabia.
Deep existing network of Saudi family offices, private investors, and institutional LPs.
Strong understanding of venture capital dynamics, fund economics, GP/LP structures, and Saudi regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience raising capital or managing HNW relationships.
Excellent communication skills (English + Arabic preferred).
Strong reputation and established credibility in the ecosystem.
