Uday Gowda

I am a MERN Full Stack and Next.js Developer with hands-on experience building production web applications across frontend interfaces, backend REST APIs, MongoDB data pipelines, and full-stack features. I work with React, Next.js, Node.js, Express, MongoDB, Firebase Auth, and REST APIs, taking products from database design through responsive user interfaces. I have built more than 30 screens, improved API response times by approximately 40% through parallel MongoDB queries, and reduced redundant network calls with caching strategies. I have also fixed 20+ production bugs, developed automated email workflows, implemented authentication and file handling, and written unit and end-to-end tests using Vitest, React Testing Library, and Playwright. I enjoy collaborating with product and design teams to deliver reliable, production-ready experiences. My project experience includes cognitive training, mobile onboarding, e-commerce, and booking platforms, and I was selected among the top 50 teams in the Samsung Innovation Campus Hackathon.
