I executed 10+ private equity and venture capital fund and co-investment transactions across Africa and South Asia, covering origination, screening, due diligence, investment committee approval, legal negotiations and portfolio management. I managed a portfolio of 15 funds and direct equity investments, overseeing performance monitoring, restructurings and exits. I also contributed to D&I and climate integration initiatives, supported the development of Growth Investment Partners, mentored junior colleagues and received the Engagement Award in March 2025.

I supported private equity and venture capital fund investments and co-investments across Africa and South Asia, covering market mapping, transaction execution and portfolio management. I screened investment opportunities, supported due diligence and investment committee processes, and contributed to monitoring a portfolio of funds and direct equity investments.

Jan 2018 – Jan 2019

I contributed to the appraisal and investment committee approval of two fund commitments totaling $70 million, conducting financial analysis, reviewing portfolio company and management reports, participating in due diligence trips and supporting legal negotiations. I screened 19 potential investments across emerging markets and managed the early-stage pipeline from proposal receipt through feedback to fund managers. I also developed five case studies for the first EIB Summer School.

Jan 2017 – Jan 2018

I advised clients on M&A transactions across the food and beverage, retail, pharmaceuticals and education sectors. I built company valuations using three-statement models, discounted cash flow, trading multiples and transaction multiples, supported by industry and business plan analysis. I prepared pitch books and marketing materials, including teasers and information memorandums.

I advised a client on the launch of an investment banking school, developing the marketing strategy and determining the pricing of a real estate asset.

Jan 2015 – Dec 2015

I directed a branch efficiency project to identify and improve underperforming processes. I analyzed the bank’s most profitable customer accounts and introduced methods to support growth in this segment.

Jan 2015 – Jan 2016

I led a project to implement a unified Microsoft system across all distributors and prepared sales presentations analyzing sales-in, sales-out and closing stock against KPIs. I organized events rewarding high-performing salespeople, contributing to a 10% increase in quarterly sales.
