DeepTechXL started as a VC fund in May 2022 with a longer investment horizon of 10 years and will make a difference for startups in the Dutch manufacturing industry by investing in complex key technologies including quantum, nano, photonics and artificial intelligence. Key technologies help solve important societal issues in the fields of Health, Food and Agro, Energy Transition & Sustainability, and Security.

ASML, Philips and TNO, among others, have committed themselves to the fund of approximately €100 million. Even more important: DeepTechXL has surrounded itself with a unique ecosystem of tech corporates, universities and research institutes that takes care of deal flow, knowledge, network, technologies, pilots, supply chain, etc.

Founded by a mix of tech entrepreneurs and successful investors, including Guus Frericks, Ronald Meersschaert, Teska van Vuren and Ron Maurer with proven track records and excellent personal reputation.

We offer the opportunity to help build a new VC fund and grow quickly. Suitable candidates have approximately 5-10 years of relevant work experience, in venture capital, corporate venturing, growth capital or private equity. Demonstrable relevant experience and affinity with technology. Curious, analytical, smart, commercial. Strong communication skills, energetic and self-confident.
