Junior Venture Capital Analyst (Working Student).

Your role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Junior Venture Capital Analyst (Working Student).
You will support the fund and our Basinghall Innovation Circle (BIC) with regard to the following activities:
- Startup scouting activities and onboarding of startups
- Activities related to BIC (e.g. pre-selection and postings on interesting startups, managing communication channels, etc.)
- Due Diligence support in potential investments
- Research activities and market analysis
- Other tasks to be discussed based on your interests, education and needs
Requirements
Preferably, we are welcoming Master's students or students in the last two years of their Bachelor studies from different areas, e.g. economics, marketing, engineering or STEM.
You are fluent in English (mandatory) and have ideally
- Strong knowledge of Excel
- the ability to build well-designed and structured presentations
- a good understanding of financial modelling
- a proactive, detail-oriented, highly motivated work attitude

Terms and conditions
Locations: Lisbon, Portugal (Hybrid, in-office two to three days/week)
Start date: Mid-September/October
Duration: ideally a minimum of 12 months, part-time (ca. 20 hours/week)
Compensation: market standard
