Zentynel Frontier Investments

Santiago-based venture capital fund investing in biotechnology across Latin America, combining capital, scientific depth and operational support for founders building scalable companies.

Zentynel Frontier Investments is a Santiago-based venture capital fund investing in biotechnology across Latin America. The firm deploys capital across the biotechnology value chain, pairing it with scientific depth and operational experience to support founders building scalable businesses. It was formed through the convergence of Fundación Ciencia & Vida and Venturance Alternative Assets.

The investment remit spans biotechnology, life sciences, health sciences and food systems science, with particular attention to the One Health framework that links human, animal and environmental health. Sector coverage accordingly runs from human and animal health to environmental health, food systems and sustainability. Impact is treated as a core component of the investment thesis rather than a separate overlay, and is assessed at global, regional and local levels; the stated commitment is to improving health outcomes and sustainable development in Latin America, and to helping portfolio founders build companies, create jobs and strengthen communities.

Alongside its investment activity, the firm runs the BioGratitud initiative, which offers support to entrepreneurs whose ventures do not fit directly into the investment portfolio. This extends the firm's engagement with the regional biotech founder base beyond its own deal flow.
