CommerzVentures is a fintech-focused Venture Capital firm. Established in 2014, the firm has been independent since 2019. CommerzVentures manages €550m across three funds (2014, 2019 and 2022) with a focus on financial returns. Commerzbank is the sole LP in all three funds. Our management team personally co-invests in each investment. Investment focus We back early stage FinTech and InsurTech companies starting at Series A in Europe, Israel the USA, and Africa. The initial investment size ranges from €3m to €20m. We invest in the very best startups in a given sector. As an independent financial investor, we offer access to key decision makers in financial services and insurance.

With a background of founding and scaling several successful fintech companies and only investing our own money we aim to be the fast, engaged and value-adding partner that other founders are looking for. The portfolio today consists of 8 investments with an ambitious plan to grow. Our most notable companies include Funding Circle (Public: FCH), Collective Medical (Sold, PointClickCare), Endurance Fitness (Sold, MBO), Vouch (Series C); as well as recently launched Resolve (CF+), and Flow (Series A). In addition, Endurance operates a multi-family investment office (MFO) for its Partners and collaborators where it invests across asset classes, but most heavily in Private Equity, Real Estate, and Venture Capital.
